Anschutz 1710 Competition Rimfire PRS Arriving...

The long awaited Anschutz 1710 Competition Rimfire PRS rifle are starting to arrive.
German Rimfire Precision mounted in a Canadian made adjustable core competition PRS chassis system.

Photos below show the 1710 Competition models mounted with the new Leica PRS 5-30 x 56i sitting in SPUHR 34mm ISMS Rings (25.4mm High), and 20MOA MDT picatinny rail. These are not included with the rifle but available for purchase separately.

Anschutz no longer offer the 1710 in .17 HMR but we are working on a 1761 variant which will come in .17HMR, 17 Mach 2, .22lr and 22WMR with a quick change barrel. It will not be in the ACC chassis, but other styles of chassis/stocks. We should see that by the third quarter of this year.

Looks like $4K USD? $5K CAD...

It had better be lights out better than a custom barrelled CZ 457 or a Vudoo...

Not sure how heavy PRS rigs are, but these seem up there in weight, factor in another 1lb for a scope

Looking at various videos/forums, PRS rigs are usually 20+ pounds. It surprised me at first, but the goal is to have zero recoil for fast follow-ups so it makes sense. EDIT: I’m talking about the 6mm rigs.

Can anyone that speaks Anschutz translate the key performance differences? Barrel size and SS/Threaded, etc, I understand...but what are the pros/cons of the Trigger and Chamber differences?
