    British Police Surplus PR24 Batons

Genuine British Police Surplus PR -24 Batons

The PR 24 is an Excellent Blunt Object when Trauma needs to be inflicted.

The stumbling block for North American LEO's was the in and out of patrol vehicles.

A two foot long stick doesn't conform to in/out privileges.

Oddly the KeyStone Coppers devised a solution with a retractable Business end.
With the snap of the wrist,
    the second section reveals itself
with a "pop" akin to a Tupperware lid.
and that is where the Perp stops laughing
    and starts legging it.

    Side handle and Business end
are made from the proprietary Monadanock Polymer
and the "Receiver" or main body is Aluminum

    Open length of 24 inches
    Closed length of 14 inches
    Diameter of 1.25 inches
    Weight 30 OZ

Well I'd not heard the Term Rozzers before, So Google brought that home to Peel Region Police where the Shop is physically located in Port Credit Region of Peel.
    Thanks

Where did the term Rozzers come from?
    ROZZERS means "Police."
ROZZERS is a long-standing slang term for the police, which derives from the late 1800s.
The term is highly likely to have been coined in the time of Sir Robert Peel,
who established the first police force in the area of Rossendale, Lancashire (hence ROZZERS).
    Sir Robert Peel
Peel County, named after Sir Robert Peel (1788-1850),
a British politician who had previously served as both the Home Secretary and Prime Minister of Great Britain,
was created in 1852 as part of the United Counties of York, Peel, and Ontario.
Peel Regional Police was built however is based on the modern policing principles of nineteenth century British Prime Minister Sir Robert Peel (1788 – 1850).
Sir Peel created London’s Metropolitan Police in 1829 in response to a heightened level of crime and an inconsistent method of handling it at the time.
He established a policing system that outlined the uniformed constables’ duties and how they would be carried out.

Top Gear occasionally, Clarksons Farm is Brilliant
but I have come to accept
that some terms in the Queens English
are beyond the understanding of neighbouring Brits
and so if I miss a word I do not rewind
trying to get even more confused by the sub titles

Yes, I have one at the shop that was carries by the first responding Constables to the Princesses fatal Crash.
We also have one from the Bobby that walked Freddie Mercury to the Live Aid Stage ramp.
Another was turned in by the Officer who arrested an Unnamed Celebrity at Heathrow for having a contraband in his or her luggage.
     just having a Piss.
These are used but not abused. Great practical items and also a lot of fun to show off to your friends over Pints.

I've talked to Use of Force instructors with Toronto and they've bent many many ASP's in the "course of their duties"

It's a stick vs Car window, vs Collar bone vs sidewalk vs the unbearable weight of a crushing Monarchy!

its a $50 stick, for fun and frivolity
if you want some serious Business I've been told these are the best....
