New Stevens 334 Bolt Action Hunting Rifle

    Stevens 334

New Stevens 334 hunting rifles by Savage Arms just arrived. These rifles offer a tone of value for the price with a bolt that feels good, uses a 3 shot magazine detachable magazine, has a long M16 style extractor, 60 degree bolt lift with three locking lugs, three position safety, and they come drilled and tapped for Savage 110 mounts with the picatinny rail included from the factory. The walnut stock looks really attractive with the stock lines and the silver coloured bolt really makes the rifle pop. These rifles come in at $659.99 for the walnut stock model and the synthetic comes in at just $549.99!

The wood one looks pretty nice. Looking at the manufacturer specs, it seems to be quite heavy. Stevens stuff is usually made in China but what about these? There just so happens to be a Norinco 334.
