No.
A Stevens Model 334 is approximately $600.00.
A Turqua deluxe Monte-Carlo walnut is $950.00-$1000.00.
A black synthetic Tikka with a blued barrel and receiver is $1100.00 or more in some locations.
A deluxe Tikka that would match a deluxe Turqua is $1500.00 or more.
Prices can very from province to province and sometimes gun shops have blow-out or sale prices on firearms.
In saying this, my point is, a Tikka is okay but is more money than the equivalent Turqua, that in my opinion only is a much better built rifle.
There are a lot of Tikka fans out there and that's okay.
Turqua is relatively new to Canada. But It's going to take the gun market with a storm. They just are very nice guns.

The UPS guy just came and delivered two Turqua rifles in 243 WIN.
They look very nice, come with two magazines and gun sock in a sturdy foam box.
One has a walnut stock, the other a grey laminated stock, don't kow which one I should keep.
Maybe I just put them up for sale, sell one and keep the second one.
I really like mine (243 cal ) and totally agree that they are a well made rifle . I like the 60 degree bolt throw ,adj cheek riser , 3 position safety and the trigger feels good.
Do you have any 3 or 5 round mags in 243 for sale?
