    Hey Hunterhenderson,

We unfortunately we only have the ATA Turqua ALR Chassis rifles in a shorter barreled version.

    Have a great day,

    Josh

The action and trigger is absolutely as smooth, as is the action compared to a Tikka.

The rifle sights are metal with a fiber optic front sight, very good quality indeed.

I sell both the Stevens Turqua and the deluxe Turqua models. I also carry Tikka rifles.

Been selling guns for over 45 years my friend. We all will have different opinions though.

The bottom line is a Turqua is as very good as a Tikka, but with way less money for a similar model.
I just received a new Stevens 334 .243 polymer and cleaning the sticky packing grease film off the bolt and action I applied a thin coat of silicone to bearing surfaces including the sear and now it's slicker than snot. The two stage trigger smoothed out too. I particularly like the heavier barrel. Bit peeved about only getting one 3 rnd mag but at $465 plus tax I really can't complain. I won't state the vendor here out of respect for the business member's forum. If anyone gets wind of extra 5 rounders for sale please drop me a line!

I bought one on the first shipment to Canada. Before the Stevens came out, before savage announced them actually. I got mine in 308, very nice rifle, in all aspects. Extremely accurate as well. I only paid $450 for mine though.

Mine also shipped with two magazines. It came with a 3 round and a 5 round mag.
