The Sig Sauer P320 turns ten years old this year. The M17 variant of the P320 was adopted by the US Military and transitioned into service in summer 2017. The most notable feature is the external ambidextrous manual thumb safety lever. The Canadian Armed Forces is currently transitioning to the P320 as well; Designated the C22 MFFP, it is a carbon copy of the latest civilian variant of the P320 to include all the current internal safety features and upgrades with lasered markings and Cerakote M17 Coyote Tan (E-170) coating on the slide to match the grip module. This M17 got a Multicam spa day from our Coating Lab to give this duty pistol a pop. Have your next project get the Cerakote treatment at Black Box Customs.

The C22 does not have an external safety, it's very unmilitary decision.

The M17 does.
