CGN is supporting scammers ? Italian Sporting Goods

I placed an order online to ItalianSportinggoods Friday the 16th Feb for the amount of $ 2614.84.
they took the money of my credit card.
Later that day, i received an email from IGS: Transaction receipt and approved.
few hour later, another email from ( Adam )
saying: supposedly the transaction was flaggeg and I need to send 2709.34 by EMT to mailto:victor@italiansportinggoods.com.
i replied, you already took $ 2615 on my credit card
and now over that you want me to EMT 2710$ to mailto:victor@italiansportinggoods.com

I sent them few emails to refund me, but to this day. they ghosted me.
no reply at all and my $ 2615 is not back.

    This sure doesn't sound right.
Contact your credit card company and find out what happened.
Could be someone hacked your c.c.

Use the number on the back of your credit card.

This isn't going to go well for you flaming these folks on here without due diligence.

    Can anyone guess?

They are closed on Mondays ...
Monday was a Statutory Holiday in BC.
Wait until 0900 PST today and call the store and ask for Victor.
Or you can call your CC company and try and sort it out.
Did you send Italiansportingoods your PAL and other deets?
I have only dealt with Victor and Joe on many occasions f2f and have nothing but respect for them, their family and the staff they have working for them.
How is CGN supporting scammers ie: Italians?
    Regards,

Flagged means the transaction is pending but not approved. It could be due to the distance from you to them.
Call the card phone number on the back of your credit card and get it straightened out.
Look at your statement online and see if it is pending/flagged. They are not scamming you.

This. Maybe give it a minute before accusing a legitimate business of scamming you?

And did the money ACTUALLY get charged to your card, or is it an authorized transaction? Those appear right away, but haven't actually been charged to your card. Like when you pre-pay at the gas station, that full amount gets authorized to your card, but obviously only the amount of gas you pump gets charged. Sometimes it takes a few days.

My experience with them was good as of this past October, I was charged for a rifle at the BC pst rate and later received an email regarding paying additional funds to cover the extra cost of the NB pst. A quick call was all it took to confirm, maybe yours is a similar situation?

Call when they're open...thats not a small charge and they've been around for a long time...so they must be doing something right.
